Alex Rigotti is a music + culture journalist based in London.
Reporting on music, film, culture + more, Alex currently works as a freelance researcher at TCO London. They were previously a contributing editor at NME and a subeditor for Digital Spy.
Alex has since gone on to make broadcast appearances on BBC Newsbeat, as well as voting on the BRITs Rising Star award and BBC Sound Of... Poll. Currently a Senior Fellow at the John Schofield Trust, they have also appeared as a guest lecturer at universities.
Earning their journalism qualifications from City University in 2023, Alex graduated with a master's in Magazine Journalism, specialising in pop culture, podcasting, and video editing.
Previously, they studied English Literature at Durham University, which they completed with a Year Abroad at Humboldt University, Berlin.
Born in Seoul and raised in Sydney, Alex moved to London in 2012, where they have resided ever since.
