With broadcast appearances including BBC Newsbeat, Alex has also voted for the BRITs Rising Star award and the BBC Sound Of... Poll. Currently a Senior Fellow at the John Schofield Trust, they regularly appear on panels and as a guest lecturer at City St. George's, University of London.

Earning their journalism qualifications from City St. George's University in 2023, Alex graduated with a master's in Magazine Journalism, specialising in pop culture, podcasting, and video editing. 

Previously, they studied English Literature at Durham University, which they completed with a Year Abroad at Humboldt University, Berlin.

Born in Seoul and raised in Sydney, Alex moved to London in 2012, where they have resided ever since.
